Omniscia Transient Audit

Timed Deposit Transfer Execution Contract Security Audit

We were tasked with auditing the codebase of Transient and in particular their specialized contract system mandating a set of ERC-20 and native asset transfers and deposits to be executed, depending on which the contract terminates by transferring the assets to the relevant parties or invoking an executor contract with the outcome of the various actions.

Over the course of the audit, we were able to pinpoint several flaws in the implementation that can at times lead to loss of funds and should all be remediated prior to the system's utilization.

Overall, the codebase should be enhanced in terms of its in-line documentation as the purpose of the contract judging solely by the code can be significantly optimized in its current state.

During the audit, we filtered and validated a total of 4 findings utilizing static analysis tools as well as identified a total of 14 findings during the manual review of the codebase. We strongly recommend that any minor severity or higher findings are dealt with promptly prior to the project's launch as they introduce potential misbehaviours of the system as well as exploits.

The list below covers each segment of the audit in depth and links to the respective chapter of the report:
