Audit Overview

We were tasked with performing an audit of the Kinza Finance codebase and in particular their wrapper asset implementations meant to be supplied as collateral but never be borrowable in the Kinza Finance lending platform.

The scope of the audit focused solely on the contracts that handle the wrapping of assets and thus their provision to the Kinza Finance lending system; the Kinza Finance team is assumed to have properly configured these wrapped assets as non-borrowable in the Kinza Finance lending system.

Over the course of the audit, we identified a potential denial-of-service attack as well as certain approval-related issues; however, all manual review findings were of minor nature and we did not identify any significant flaw in the wrapping system given that it is based on the Open Zeppelin standard.

We advise the Kinza Finance team to closely evaluate all minor-and-above findings identified in the report and promptly remediate them as well as consider all optimizational exhibits identified in the report.

Post-Audit Conclusion

The Kinza Finance team iterated through all findings within the report and provided us with a revised commit hash to evaluate all exhibits on.

We evaluated all alleviations performed by Kinza Finance and have identified that all exhibits have been adequately dealt with no outstanding issues remaining in the report.

During the audit, we filtered and validated a total of 6 findings utilizing static analysis tools as well as identified a total of 11 findings during the manual review of the codebase. We strongly recommend that any minor severity or higher findings are dealt with promptly prior to the project's launch as they can introduce potential misbehaviours of the system as well as exploits.
