Audit Overview
We were tasked with performing an audit of the Steer Protocol codebase and in particular their Uniswap V4 style Liquidity Manager module.
The system implements a Uniswap V4 liquidity manager supporting funds at rest as well as funds deployed across several tick-based positions in a Uniswap V4 system with a protocol fee imposed on the fees generated by the tick-based positions.
Over the course of the audit, we identified a significant re-entrancy vulnerability that could result in fund drain of the token1 funds held by the vault, an error in the Uniswap V4 TWAP calculation, as well as other issues within the codebase's arithmetic operations and validation mechanisms.
We advise the Steer Protocol team to closely evaluate all minor-and-above findings identified in the report and promptly remediate them as well as consider all optimizational exhibits identified in the report.
Post-Audit Conclusion
The Steer Protocol team iterated through all findings within the report and provided us with a revised commit hash to evaluate all exhibits on.
We evaluated all alleviations performed by Steer Protocol and have identified that certain exhibits have not been adequately dealt with. We advise the Steer Protocol team to revisit the following exhibit: LMV-06M
Additionally, the following informational findings remain partially addressed and should be revisited: LMV-06C, LMV-01S
Finally, while this exhibit is considered as alleviated, additional insight has been provided as to how its alleviation can be enhanced: LMV-08M
Post-Audit Conclusion (2bab393ad0)
The Steer Protocol team provided us with a follow-up commit hash containing fixes for the aforementioned exhibits except for LMV-06M whose alleviation was already present.
We evaluated all alleviations and identified that the alleviation of LMV-06M is impartial.
All other exhibits have been adequately alleviated.
Post-Audit Conclusion (Cont.)
The Steer Protocol team evaluated our follow-up notes on exhibit LMV-06M and opted to acknowledge it.
As a result, we consider all outputs of the audit report properly consumed by the Steer Protocol team with no outstanding remediative actions remaining.

During the audit, we filtered and validated a total of 3 findings utilizing static analysis tools as well as identified a total of 24 findings during the manual review of the codebase. We strongly recommend that any minor severity or higher findings are dealt with promptly prior to the project's launch as they can introduce potential misbehaviours of the system as well as exploits.
